The Tale of Benjamin Bunny was published in 1904 as a follow up to The Tale of Peter Rabbit. It chronicles Peter and his cousin Benjamin's expedition to recover Peter's little blue coat and shoes (left behind in his flight from Mr. McGregor ’s garden in the previous Tale), which Benjamin discovers on the scarecrow in Mr.McGregor's garden. 'Benjamin tried on the (scarecrow's)tam-o-shanter.But it was too big for him.'
